Wack’s Wicked grow your own Sarracenia kit (North American Pitcher Plant kit).

This kit contains everything you need to grow your own Sarracenia. All seeds are fresh from the current season, and the plants have been grown, seeds harvested, on our own nursery in North Yorkshire. This is pot luck, the seeds can come from any Sarracenia on our nursery!!

In this kit are 2 pots, compost (a mix of peat and perlite), 10 seeds, and a card with instructions.

How to grow your Venus Flytrap seeds

1. Remove the seeds from the kit
2. Keep them in the fridge until you are ready to sow
3. Remove the shrink wrap from the pot with compost
4. Stand the pot in a saucer with rainwater for 24 hours
5. Put the seeds on the top of the compost, do not cover
6. Find a really sunny position on a windowsill/greenhouse
7. Stand the pot in a saucer with rainwater
8. Keep frost free
9. Germination can take several weeks

Once the plants have germinated, thin then out if too close together. Keep them in the same location – full sun, sitting in rainwater
